Like other PPC companies, Findology has
experienced their share of growing pains. The difference is that
since Findology is one of the newest players in the pay per click
industry they haven’t overcome as many as other companies. However,
Findology is second only to Enhance Interactive in innovation.
Although few people have tried Findology, don’t be surprised if
they are universally considered a top 5 PPC company by 2009. Some
of the most notable features that Findology offers are fraud
protection and ROI guarantee.
Findology’s fraud protection was set-up to help them improve the
overall quality of their traffic. After seeing the success that the
program had, they started offering the service to their
clients.
The Guaranteed ROI is not pay per click advertising, but pay per
acquisition. What essencially happens is you are charged for each
sale that you make as a result of the traffic they send. Can you
name any other form of advertising that only charges you if you
make money? As you can imagine, these charges will be significantly
higher than a click fee if you are doing PPC, so this service only
makes sense if you have a low conversion rate and a decsent profit
margin on your products. You’ll need to add a snipet of code to
your HTML code, so if you do not own the website, you cannot use
the service.
Findology’s account management system is very attractive. Inside of
your account management system you can easily set multiple
campaigns that have their own daily cap. There are no banned sites
on Findology’s network. Casino websites will find refuge here since
they’ve been booted off most of the others.
Unlike most pay per click companies that receive less than 30
million searches per day, Findology’s website seems more like an
everyday search engine. This look is much more appealing to those
who stumble across their site. One major downfall is that you can’t
see current bid prices until you already have an account.
There
are options to search Web, News, Shopping, and Yellow Pages on
their site. The News and Shopping sections aren’t very easy to
read, but that shouldn’t affect your traffic.
If
you read about Findology on forums you’ll see that Findology’s
customer service is non-existent, but when we emailed them they
responded within a few hours. After you start an account you’ll
receive an email asking if you’d like them to create keywords.
Findology offers a $50 credit when you start an account with a $25
deposit (yes, you get $75 worth of clickthroughs for $25). To take
advantage of that offer, you need to email customer
service. Simply tell them that you were offered a $50
credit and they’ll add it to your account. If you don’t have $25 to
test out an ad campaign, then maybe pay per click isn’t the best
thing for you.
